MISSION STATEMENT
To promote American, patriotic camaraderie by way of health and freedom for all American Graffiti Pharoahs and their fans. This web page is not about politics that divide Americans, it's about statesmanship that unites all Americans for the protection of their health and freedom.

AND TO THE REPUBLIC
These united States of America have the best form of government in the world, which allows American citizens to be the freest people in the world; however, what is our form of government? Is it truly a democracy, as so many of our Representatives tell us? As you will soon learn the answer to this question is quite simply, NO.

A WRITTEN RULE OF LAW-THE CONSTITUTION
Every study of basic American civics must begin with our proper form of government. How can Americans understand what their proper form of government is? By reading the United States Constitution. When you read the Constitution you're actually studying Constitutional Law.
Article IV Section 4 guarantees that every State within this Union shall be a Republic, with rule by Constitutional Law.
Look at the California State flag it reads California Republic. Remember the pledge of allegiance in which all Americans recite, "and to the Republic for which it stands."

"No country and no people can be free and ignorant at the same time." -Thomas Jefferson

This web page is going to make you healthy and free and this goes along with our carefree cruisin' days. Being kool can be an ornament or it can be real, it's all about choice.
Thanks to Bo and Frank we have an opportunity to keep the old time American spirit alive. -Geno No.21

Republic versus Democracy
Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution guarantees every State within this Union shall be a Republic.
The California State flag reads CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC.
When We, the People, recite the pledge of allegiance to the American flag we all say: "and to the Republic for which it stands."
There is no doubt that America is a Republic.
On April 30, 1789, during his inaugural address, President George Washington stated: "I shall dedicate myself to the republican model of government."
President Washington was not referring to any party, he was referring to a republic.
The word Republic comes from the Latin words res publica; res meaning thing and publica meaning public. The public thing is the law. In our nation the law is Constitutional Law.
"An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed."
-Norton vs. Shelby County 118US 425 page 442
The word democracy comes froms the Greek words demos and kratein and translate to "the people to rule."
Millions of Americans falsely believe they have more freedoms under a democracy. Under a democracy you do not have any unalienable Rights. Unalienable and inalienable both mean that which cannot be changed; not by a majority vote or by a dictator. Under our Republic your individual freedoms are actually protected from the tyranny of the majority.
The word democracy cannot be found in our U.S. Constitution or in any of our fifty state constitutions.
Samuel Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence stated: "Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself."
Alexander Hamilton stated in a speech on June 21, 1788: "It has been observed that a pure democracy if it were practicable would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved that no position is more false than this. The ancient democracies in which the people themselves deliberated never possessed one good feature of government. Their very character was tyranny; their figure deformity." At the Constitutional Convention of 1787 Hamilton said: "We are a Republican government. Real Liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of democracy."
James Madison, who is rightly known as the Father of the Constitution, wrote in the Federalist No.10: ". . .democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they are violent in their deaths."
The United States of American has survived since 1776 precisely because we are a Republic, with a written rule of law the U.S. Constitution; not a democracy, with rule by majority.
In order to maintain our Liberty We, The People, must study our Constitution and demand that our representatives obey their Oath of Office, to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution.
Until next time, this is Geno, member no. 21.
